Troop 101 Scouts soared to new heights this past weekend at the Mayflower Council's Aviation Camporee held at the Plymouth Municipal Airport! šāļø The camporee was not just about camping but was a thrilling adventure centered around the Aviation Merit Badge and exciting careers in aviation. Who knows? We might have future pilots, engineers, and air traffic controllers among us!
What We Did!
Flight Simulators: Scouts got to experience the thrill of flying with state-of-the-art flight simulators!
Meet the Pilots: We had special guestsāreal pilots who shared their stories and tips on how to soar in the aviation field.
Hands-On Activities: From building model airplanes to learning about aircraft mechanics, our Scouts had a blast!
Stargazing: After a day of fun, we ended the night with a a movie and dreaming of future flights.
