Patrol Leaders’ Council (PLC) Meeting Monday, November 12th, 7:00-8:00 pm at Sanctuary Church Children’s Room!

All Patrol Leaders, Troop Guides and Instructors, and Senior Patrol Leader should plan to attend. Patrol Leaders- if you cannot attend,  your Assistant Patrol Leader or another patrol representative needs to attend. We will be planning Troop Meetings up to first meeting in December.

Monday Candy Bar Sales- Monday 11/12/18, at Star Market from 9:00 am to Noon. Some slots are available, please contact Mrs Appel (kmfrazier2@comcast.com) or Mrs Greene (kdunngreene@gmail.com) to sign up for available time slots.

Scouting for Food- If you did not drop off your collected donations at the Food Pantry on Sunday then please bring your non-perishable food items to the Marshfield Food Pantry (located in Library Plaza).

Next Camping– Saturday 11/17 to Sunday 11/18. Features Indoor Rock Climbing at Challenge Rocks Gym in Hingham, Camping at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham. Final signups, meal planning, and other planning details will happen at Troop Meeting on Wednesday. Contact Mr Burch with any questions. $20

November also features the Wreath and Garland Fundraiser (delivery weekend after Thanksgiving), and Thanksgiving (no Troop Meeting on November 21).

Upcoming Activities – The troop has many exciting activities planned, but we need adults and scouts to take the lead. Upcoming events where we could use some assistance include:

Battleship Cove overnight trip in December 8-9

Crotched Mountain Ski Trip- end of January 25-26.

Klondike Derby and overnight Camping or Cabin sleeping- February 2 at Camp Squanto.

Webelos Crossover and Cabin Camping Trip in February 2019 at Camp Squanto.

Our Troop needs adult volunteers to help organize events and fundraisers, and to help out at troop meetings! You won’t be alone in your efforts, we have experienced leaders who will assist you if asked. Please speak to Dan, Celeste, or Suzi. Sign up here:

Don’t forget! All adults attending outings are now required to take Youth Protection Training. This can be done online by going to scouting.org
