Troop 101 Marshfield, chartered on April 1, 1970, is a Boy Scout of America troop serving the town of Marshfield, Massachusetts. Our troop—with over 40 scouts and growing—welcomes anyone ages 11–17 from Marshfield and the surrounding areas to join the fun.

St. Christine’s Sales – The Pozerski’s are coordinating. Sign up at a troop meeting or contact John Pozerski to sell greens after the masses December 1-2 & 8-9.

Nov 17 – 18 Climbing / Camping Outing: Challenger Rocks, Hingham, Indoor climb on Saturday, 1-3pm (departing Sanctuary at noon). Camp out at Wompatuck State Park Saturday night. $20 per person – what a deal!. Contact leaders in charge with questions: Dan Bardon or John McGrail.

Nov 17. Sat’y. Scoutmaster Position Specific Training Nobscot Reservation – Sudbury MA. 8:30am – 1 pm. Adults interested in becoming an Assistant Scoutmaster – this live training is for you and it’s free! (This training is also available on-line). Register at Mayflower Council website if interested.

Nov 21 – No meeting. Weds night before Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Nov 23 Friday Wreath/Garland pick-up/start delivering. Start picking-up at the Corkhum residence 9 am. 133 Tilden Rd. Important: Note what you are taking on the tracker posted. Wreaths come in bundles of 6 – it would be helpful if people could take full bundles. Please take what you think you can sell – You can always come back and get more!!

Nov 28 – Troop Meeting.

Battleship Cove Nautical Nights 12/8-9. Sign up and pay by tonight! Payment must be received upon sign-up. $70 per person. No refunds. Scout account funds may be used. Two registered adults needed at minimum. Additional drivers may also be needed. Please talk to Mark Ward for more information or if you can help.

Dec 5 – Weds. Troop Meeting Sanctuary 7pm

Dec 6 Thursday – Troop Committee Mtg.,7 pm, Sanctuary

Dec 8-9 Sat. – Battleship Cove Nautical Nights overnight adventure.

Dec 10 – Wreath/Garland Fundraiser ends. Please turn in all unsold greens to Corkhum’s by this day!

Dec 10 Monday Patrol Leaders Council (PLC) Mtg., 7 pm, Sanctuary. Come help plan out your troop meetings for the next month. Senior Patrol Leader (SPL), Patrol Leaders (and/or assistants), Instructors, Troop Guides, Quartermaster – should all attend. If you need a leadership position you are also encouraged to attend!

Dec 12 Weds – Troop Meeting 7pm. Final night to complete rank-ups and merit badges for awards on 12/19 COH. Money due by tonight for wreath/garland fundraiser.

Dec 19 Weds – Troop Meeting/Court of Honor/Holiday party. 7pm. Final troop meeting of the year. Merry Christmas!
