Troop 101 Marshfield, chartered on April 1, 1970, is a Boy Scout of America troop serving the town of Marshfield, Massachusetts. Our troop—with over 40 scouts and growing—welcomes anyone ages 11–17 from Marshfield and the surrounding areas to join the fun.

Sign-up for Summer Camp! We go as a troop July 14-20.  Early bird price $425 – Sign-up and pay by May 15. $450 after May15. Includes meals and a whole lot of fun! For more informtion check out Mayflower Council’s site:

The 2019 Mayflower Council Camp Guide is a 100-page document that has all the information parents need and can also be accessed here: FINAL-Camp-Guide-v3.15.19 General camp information is at the beginning of the document. Squanto specific information, including the merit badge schedule, starts on page 57. Med form informtion starts on page 67. IMPORTANT: Medical form information. Every Scout needs an up-to-date BSA med form complete with his doctor’s signature within the past 12 months. Campership Information – There are limited troop funds available to assist families in need for summer camp. Apply for troop funds with this form: T101 Campership Application 2019 Please fill it out and submit it to Maureen Panagrossi, Charlie Malloy or Dan Bardon. Additionally, please apply on-line for Mayflower Council camperships. They will be approving applications on a rolling basis so the earlier the better. Early bird price will be honored if you sign-up and apply by May 15. May 15 – Troop Meeting 7pm. Summer camp early bird price deadline. Sign-up and pay by tonight to save $25! Price jumps from $425 to $450 after this week.

May 19 – From our chartered organization. “Join us in Marshfield on Sunday as we clean up Rexhame Beach, work at South River Park, plant the community garden, volunteer for the food pantry, clean up the bog and walking trails, and end the morning with a cookout!”Go to sanctuarysouthshore.org/n2n and sign up for a project and get your sweet Sanctuary swag. (T-shirts. We have t-shirts.)” Service hours opportunity for all.

May 22 – Troop Meeting 7pm

May 29- Troop Meeting 7pm We will be doing service work around Sanctuary, so bring gloves, rakes, etc.

June 1–2: Little Haystack Backpacking Weekend in Grafton County, New Hampshire.

June 5 – Troop Meeting 7pm. Last night for rank-ups for recognition at the Court of Honor

June 6 Thurs -Troop Committee End of Year Meeting at the Corkhum’s (133 Tilden Road). Any parents interested in helping set our goals for the next year in scouts is welcome to attend!

June 12: Last troop meeting of the school year. BBQ starts at 6:30, followed by Court of Honor

June 13-Flag Day observed ceremony with meal to follow on June 13 at the Marshfield Elks Lodge.

June 15-16: Leader training at Squanto “Beyond the Basics” sign up and register online by June 9 at:  https://www.mayflowerbsa.org/event/beyond-the-basics-training/

Sat., June 15: Dan Pierce’s Eagle Court of Honor, Sanctuary Church 2pm. RSVP to evite by June 8. Scouts arrive at 1pm for rehearsal before ceremony in Class A uniform.

June 28-30: Shawme Crowell State Forest Camping/Biking. Sandwich MA. Looking for 1 or 2 adults to take the lead on this outing.
