Troop 101 Marshfield, chartered on April 1, 1970, is a Boy Scout of America troop serving the town of Marshfield, Massachusetts. Our troop—with over 40 scouts and growing—welcomes anyone ages 11–17 from Marshfield and the surrounding areas to join the fun.

The 2019 Mayflower Council Camp Guide is a 100-page document that has all the information parents need and can also be accessed here: FINAL-Camp-Guide-v3.15.19 General camp information is at the beginning of the document. Squanto specific information, including the merit badge schedule, starts on page 57. Med form informtion starts on page 67. IMPORTANT: Medical form information. Every Scout needs an up-to-date BSA med form complete with his doctor’s signature within the past 12 months. Campership Information – There are limited troop funds available to assist families in need for summer camp. Apply for troop funds with this form: T101 Campership Application 2019 Please fill it out and submit it to Maureen Panagrossi, Charlie Malloy or Dan Bardon. Additionally, please apply on-line for Mayflower Council camperships. They will be approving applications on a rolling basis so the earlier the better. Early bird price will be honored if you sign-up and apply by May 15. April 15-19 School Vacation Week, No Meeting.

Weds., April 24 – Troop Meeting. 7 pm. Candy bar sales sign-ups finalized.

Sat. April 27 – Keep Marshfield Clean Day, Community Service event. Pick an area around town or even in your own neighborhood to clean up. Pick up bags and drop-off what you collect at FBMS 9am – 4pm.

Sat./Sun. May 4-5 – Candy bar sales at Stop & Shop, Roche Bros. & Lowes. Great earning opportunity for Scout Accounts! A Scout earns his way … Thank you to Kristen Appel and Kate Greene for coordinating our Spring candy bar sales! We will once again be selling Hilliards candy bars at the local storefronts. This is a great way for Scouts to raise funds to help offset the cost of their outings. Summer camp is right around the corner! Sign up at the troop meetings in April.

May 10 – 12 Indian Lore Camporee at Camp Squanto. Scouts $20/Adults $5. Dive into the cultures of Native American Tribes from across the country. Learn their customs, language, food, shelters, and songs. Earn the Indian Lore Merit Badge. Camping will be on the Camporee field.
