Troop 101 Marshfield, chartered on April 1, 1970, is a Boy Scouts of America troop serving the town of Marshfield, Massachusetts. Our troop—with over 40 scouts and growing—welcomes anyone ages 11–17 from Marshfield and the surrounding areas to join the fun.

Fri., Jan. 24 – Sat., Jan. 25: 2020 Freeze Out (Winter Trek): For older boys not going on the ski trip, here is a high adventure opportunity. Build an igloo and sleep in it at Camp Resolute in Bolton, MA. See Adam Burch for details.

Scoutmaster News

Please plan to attend our first Troop meeting of 2020 on Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM. Our meeting format for tomorrow evening will include:

7:10 PM – Opening Colors Ceremony / Announcements
7:15 PM – 7:30 PM – Rank Advancement
7:30 PM – 7:45 PM – Patrol Leader Elections
7:45 PM – 8:15 PM – Game
8:25 PM – Announce Patrol Leaders / Closing Ceremony

Other Items:

Crotched Mountain Midnight Madness – Ski Trip: Scouts need to sign-up and pay for the fee so that we can send our confirmation to Crotched Mountain. We will also need to know how many parents are attending so that rides to and from Crotched Mountain can be coordinated.

Patrol Leaders Council Meeting (Monday, 1/13/20 at 7:00 PM): The first Patrol Leader Council meeting will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, 1/13/20 at the Marshfield Rod and Gun Club. Patrol Leaders, Assistant Patrol Leaders and anyone else interested in attending should plan to be there.
